Development prospects and trends of Modified plastics:

 

(1)General plastic engineering plastic : although engineering plastic product increase constantly, develop the application field constantly,  due to the expansion of production equipment,the cost of the product gradually reduced ; But today, ithe modified equipment, modification technology has become more and more mature , general thermoplastic resin get engineering characteristics through modification unceasingly, and has already taken partial maeket of traditional engineering plastics application.  

 

(2)Engineering plastic high performance: with the booming development of the domestic automobile, electric, electronics, communication and machinery industry , the demand of modified engineering plastic will rise sharply, all kinds of high strength of heat-resistant type engineering plastic will be used widely.

 

(3)The low cost of Special engineering plastics : as PPS (PPS), polyimide (PIM), PEEK (PEEK), poly (PSF) and liquid crystal polymers (LCP), and other high-performance engineering plastic, as with its features of good electrical performance, high temperature resistance and stable dimension, some still have very good flame retardant feature, radioaction resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical properties, so in the area of electric anfd electronics、automobile、Meter machine and ammeter 、aviation, coating , petroleum and the rockets, aerospace and other cutting-edge scientific and technological area ,the special engineering plastic has got more more important applications.

 

(4)Nano composite technology will bring a new chance to the modified plastics :the manufacturing and application of polymer nanocomposites is an important topic in the future.  

 

(5)Plastic modification to have environmental consciousness, repeated use, the concept of environmental protection will be used in design and manufacturing process of the modification polymers 

     

(6)Development of new and high efficient auxiliary is also the important developing direction for modified plastics:the auxiliary which involved in modified plastics except processing often used auxiliary ,such as heat stabilizers, antioxidants, ultra violet absorber, nucleation agent, antistatic agent, dispersant and flame retardant agent and so on . toughening agents, flame retardant synergistic agent, alloy compatibility agent  i is also very important to modified plastics(interface compatibility agent) .
